With effect from 9 August 2003, Ben Thane (Portsmouth Cricket Club) is suspended for two League matches, for abuse of an umpire. In addition, a further one match ban is suspended until the end of the 2004 season.The suspension applies to organisations affiliated to the Hampshire Cricket Board and to neighbouring County Boards.
